Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a GSF subsidiary, operates a high-volume last-mile distribution network. The role sits in a temperature-controlled warehouse, performing loading, picking, and leadership tasks to keep orders moving accurately and safely.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with pallet jacks and forklifts, using RF scanners and a VoCollect headset for precise picking, cycle counts, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

Overview

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is a custom last-mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for selected food service industry customers. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants throughout the United States. Providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers, the QCD fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year. What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Role

• All Associates:
  • Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
  • Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
  • Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
  • Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

• Selector (Picker) Specific:
  • Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
  • Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You’ll Bring

• All Associates:
  • Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

• Selector (Picker) Specific:
  • Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
  • Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
  • Use a voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting

• Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler, freezer: -5°F to 38°F)
• Primarily a 4-day work week, with shifts starting between 3:30 PM and 2:00 AM
• Weekends are mandatory and holiday availability required
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods

Pay & Benefits

• $29.36/hour (or salary range is acceptable)
• Additional $1.00/hr for all hours worked in the freezer
• Additional $1.50/hr for working Saturday or Sunday
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
