Golden State Foods is seeking a Warehouse Selector (Picker) for our Pineville, NC facility. You’ll move, pick, and ship products in a multi-temperature warehouse, using RF scanners and a voice-directed picking system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Roles include loading trailers, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting the team with a positive, high-energy approach. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for benefits after 30 days and a sign-on bonus.

Competenze

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.

Mansioni

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high-traffic warehouse areas.
• Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Read labels, count product, and complete order paperwork.
• Support team with cleaning and additional duties as needed.
