Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of Golden State Foods, is hiring for a selector/picker role in our on-site, temperature-controlled warehouse. In this role you will operate material handling equipment, use handheld scanners, and ensure orders are picked accurately for daily delivery to restaurants.

The position requires standing, lifting up to 75 lbs, and night/weekend work as part of a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

Must have one year of experience in food distribution.
Must have warehouse experience/using material handling equipment within the past six months.
Comfort working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
Lifting up to 75 lbs continuously.
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety.
Experience with handheld scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

Must have experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, stand-up trucks, stand-up dock trucks, and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify the accuracy of orders and product quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
