Job summary

National DCP, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Selector in Lockport, IL to pick, label and palletize orders across dry, refrigerated, and freezer zones. You will use an electric pallet jack and voice picking tools to build custom orders for outbound delivery.

The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, operating warehousing equipment, and adhering to safety, attendance, and company standards. Solid benefits accompany a stable, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in Dry, Cooler, and Freezer environments.
• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Operate shrink-wrap machine and manual shrink-wrapping.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, pallet jack, high lift).
• Flexible days and hours; may include weekends/holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures preferred
• Knowledge of food handling regulations preferred
• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
• RF Gun and Vocollect experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jack or forklift to hand select orders.
• Stack products on pallets and stage pallets for outbound loading.
• Maintain selection rates across temperature zones.
• Shrink-wrap products to secure loads for transit.
• Perform daily safety inspections on equipment.
• Maintain safe lifting techniques and safety standards.
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and cross-training.
