Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a security supervisor to oversee security staff at our Boston, MA facility. The role focuses on maintaining strict access control, developing and implementing security procedures, and ensuring all security equipment is properly serviced and maintained.

The ideal candidate holds a HS diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred, and has at least five years in security or law enforcement, including three years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; associate degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of security staff for the safety and protection of all Ryder personnel at the Boston, MA Facility.
• Ensure that access control is maintained at all times.
• Develop security procedures to be adhered to by security staff.
• Ensure that equipment pertinent to the security operation is serviced and maintained and in operable condition.
• Purchase tools pertinent to the operation of the security department at the Boston, MA facility and ensure billing is correct.
