Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to protect people, product, and property at our distribution center in Riverside. This hands-on role blends security, operations, and data accuracy in both indoor and outdoor settings.

You will monitor access, conduct bag checks, manage key control, and support yard and shipment operations. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential to identify risks and drive safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (indoor and outdoor conditions).
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Protect People & Assets by monitoring access and verifying associates/visitors.
• Conduct bag checks and support badge access processes.
• Maintain key control and enforce security procedures; observe and report suspicious activity.
• Support Yard & Shipment Operations; track and log incoming/outgoing trailers; audit trailer locations and seals.
• Audit data accuracy; enter and maintain logs in company systems; report discrepancies to leadership.
• Work with operations, safety, and leadership to create a safe, efficient workplace.
