Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to safeguard people, product, and property at our distribution center. You will blend security, operations, and data accuracy to protect assets while supporting efficient goods flow.

This hands-on role requires vigilance, teamwork, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors, with training to improve loss prevention and safety across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (indoor and outdoor conditions).
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Protect People & Assets: monitor access, verify associates/visitors, support badge processes, maintain key control, report suspicious activity.
• Support Yard & Shipment Operations: track trailers, control yard flow, verify locations and seal integrity, ensure system accuracy.
• Audit & Identify Risks: conduct audits daily/weekly/monthly, monitor CCTV, spot loss patterns, report findings to leadership.
• Data & Reporting: enter logs in systems, communicate discrepancies, use reports for investigations and improvements.
• Team & Partnership: collaborate with operations, safety, and leadership; maintain professional presence.
