C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Scrubber Operator to maintain clean docks and aisles at our distribution facilities. The role operates the scrubber machine, records daily progress, and performs routine maintenance while supporting the sanitation team to keep our operations running smoothly.

The shift is 1st shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with pay at $20.00 per hour.

Position Overview

Scrubber Operators work as a part of the C&S Sanitation team to preserve a clean and tidy environment throughout our facilities. These critical roles help to support our prideful work environment and the delivery of high quality product to our customers.

Job Description

• Earn $20.00 per hour
• Tuesday - Saturday
• 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT

You will contribute by:

• Operating the Scrubber Machine to scrub the warehouse docks and aisles routinely and recording your progress daily in the log provided to you
• Cleaning product spills and wet areas as directed by your supervisor
• Cleaning and performing routine maintenance to the scrubber machine to include cleaning the reservoir and putting in new solution
• Function as a Porter when necessary
• Scrubbing the repack room daily, occasionally moving repack machinery to scrub underneath it
• Performing other assigned tasks to you by your supervisor

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
