Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a 2nd shift custodian at Windsor Locks, CT. You will help keep a clean and safe warehouse environment, cleaning the entire facility including offices, break areas, windows and restrooms. Earn $19.00 per hour.

The role requires physical work such as standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and operating a pallet jack for occasional moves. We offer weekly pay, benefits from day one, paid training, and opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
• Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
• Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
• Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
• Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
• Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
• Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Job Description

• Earn $19.00 per hour
• Shift - 2nd
• 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM
• Days TBD
• Location - 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096

You will contribute by:
