Job summary

Sysco Medley, FL is seeking a full-time custodian responsible for general custodial care and sanitation of the warehouse under supervision. You will perform duties safely and meet productivity goals while supporting a clean, safe work environment.

The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas; operating floor equipment; and assisting with recycling and waste programs. You will work with your supervisor to minimize shrink and maintain neat work areas across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year warehouse related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties throughout the facility including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and dispose of waste daily.
• Clean floors and equipment mezzanine, and scrub aisles and docks as needed.
• Operate floor care equipment in assigned areas to preserve floor quality.
• Support recycling and stretch-wrap programs and transport materials to balers and pallets for shipment.
• Ensure safety by reporting unsafe conditions and following all rules.
