Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC seeks a dedicated sanitation associate to maintain a clean and safe facility. This role involves removing trash, cleaning spills, and operating cleaning equipment across the warehouse and dock areas.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and prior sanitation experience in a warehouse. Lifting up to 50 pounds and sustained physical activity are expected, with follow-up duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sanitation experience in a warehouse is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from warehouse and dock areas.
• Clean spills of product or other foreign matter.
• Operate power scrubber and other warehouse cleaning equipment.
• Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, and related areas.
• Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms.
• Follow the daily sanitation schedule to maintain ongoing program.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
