Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a dedicated warehouse custodian to perform general cleaning and sanitation tasks, supporting productivity goals under supervision.

Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and safe operation of basic equipment. The role centers on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse related experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to work overnight shifts.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Dust and clean throughout the facility, including duster, sweep, mop, and scrub floors.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and manage trash/disposal daily.
• Clean restrooms, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of lockers and corridors.
• Operate and maintain basic material handling equipment safely (e.g., forklifts and pallet jacks).
• Complete sanitation logs and help maintain a neat and organized warehouse.
