Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a warehouse custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the facility. You will perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and weekly floor care while ensuring safety and productivity goals are met.

The role requires independence, 1 year of warehouse experience, and the ability to read simple instructions. It is a full-time position in a warehouse setting with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year warehouse related experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties throughout the facility including dusting, sweeping, washing, wiping, scrubbing, shoveling, and mopping.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and dispose of warehouse trash or debris daily.
• Clean coolers, aisles, and mezzanine areas; scrub floors in various zones.
• Operate material handling equipment safely to support operations.
• Complete daily sanitation logs and comply with safety rules and policies.
• Support recycling and stretch wrap processes as required.
