Job summary

Southeastern Food Merchandisers is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the warehouse and facilities, including freezer and cooler zones. The role supports a safe, organized, and compliant work environment through routine cleaning, waste removal, and spill response.

The position involves performing duties across indoor, outdoor, and dock areas, following established safety and sanitation procedures and assisting with related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough aisle sweeping throughout the warehouse.
• Conduct end-of-shift walkthroughs and remove trash from freezer and cooler areas.
• Promptly clean spills and maintain safe walking and working surfaces throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse docks through daily sweeping and upkeep.
• Regularly empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
• Maintain sanitation standards in indoor, outdoor, freezer, and cooler environments.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with additional sanitation and facility tasks as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
