Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse janitor for Sunday through Thursday, 7:30 PM to 4:00 AM. You will perform general cleaning and sanitation tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, operate a pallet jack, and assist with waste disposal.

Adherence to safety rules is essential to keep facilities clean and safe. Minimum education is a High School Diploma or GED with little to no prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided.

• Required Experience: 0 - 6 Months; general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience, Pallet jack experience.

• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets and completes related safety training.

Position Summary

Sunday through Thursday
7:30 PM to 4:00 AM

Performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles. General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick up and use of compactor. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals. Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business need.

Position Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines. Reports any and all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates. Is certified to operate all required equipment.


• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick up and related janitorial tasks.


• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.


• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.


• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.


• Performs other duties as assigned


• Complies with all policies and standards


• Performs other related duties as assigned.
