Job summary

SpartanNash in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Warehouse Loader to unload trucks, breakdown pallets and prepare items for storage. You will assist with sanitation, fueling, washing, and some order picking as needed.

Candidates must lift 30–60 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally, work 8–10 hour shifts, weekends and overtime, and communicate in English. This is a hands-on role in a multi-temperature warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks and related equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work 8–10 hour shifts.
• English reading/writing and basic arithmetic required.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from trucks; break down pallets and organize products for warehouse racks/pick slots.
• Move cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of dry groceries, produce, and other items as per order forms.
• Assist with sanitation duties and keep warehouse clean.
• Fuel, wash and/or clean semi-trucks/trailers as needed.
• Assist with checking products for damage and accuracy against PO labels.
• Assist with selecting orders, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling cases/pallets.
