Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington North America is hiring a Maintenance Technician/Sanitation at the Columbus Depot in Urbancrest, OH. The role includes maintenance support in warehouse and office areas, sanitation duties, operating a floor sweeper, and basic housekeeping to meet safety and quality standards.

Schedule: 3rd shift, Sunday night to Thursday night, 10:45pm–6:45am, with some mandatory overtime. Must have sanitation experience, good attendance, be physically able to lift 35–70 pounds, and work in

Responsibilities

Description

Maintenance Technician duties include maintenance support throughout the warehouse and office areas.

Maintenance Sanitation duties include but are not limited to operating warehouse floor sweeper, general housekeeping, trash and trash clean up. Other job duties may be required. May be required to work overtime and off shift days/times to complete sanitation tasks.

Schedule

3rd Shift: Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 10:45pm - 6:45am (Some mandatory overtime)

Qualifications Required: Must have sanitation experience

• Excellent attendance record.
• Handyman skills, mechanically inclined.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in the direction of the activities of the shift as per established policies and procedures.
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of and commitment to departmental safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Without assistance, must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing 35-45 pounds on average and up to 70 pounds on a frequent/daily basis.
• Must be able to work in temperatures similar to outdoors within the Central Ohio region.
• Proficient in the English language (verbal and written).
• Good team/customer/vendor relations and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work both independently and as a team member.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications Desired:

• Basic Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Hourly Pay: $18.50
