Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Warehouse Training & Safety Coordinator to oversee safety initiatives, training programs, and policy adherence at our Portland, ME facility. The role reports to the Director of Quality and Safety and focuses on creating a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.

You will train new employees in PIV operation, safety, and job duties, maintain SOPs and training records, and conduct refresher sessions to ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Train new warehouse employees in operations and safety.
• Maintain training materials and SOPs, certifications and records.
• Conduct periodic refresher training sessions.
• Maintain training records in compliance with regulations.
• Enforce safety policies and perform audits as requested by leadership.
• Collaborate with management to align training with goals.

Responsibilities

• Train all new warehouse employees in PIV operation, safety, and duties.
• Maintain training materials, SOPs, certifications, and training records.
• Conduct periodic refresher training sessions.
• Maintain training records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and perform safety audits.
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety violations with Operations Managers.
• Oversee PPE usage and hazardous materials handling compliance.
• Encourage safety initiatives and align strategies with operations goals.
