Ryder System, Inc. in Greencastle, PA is hiring a 2nd shift Warehouse Safety Supervisor to lead safety programs, ensure compliance, and drive incident investigations on site.

The role is exempt/salaried, paying $65,000–$70,000 annually, with weekly pay and 2nd shift hours (Mon-Fri, 6:00 pm–2:30 am). Strong leadership, communication, and safety expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred.
• At least 1 year of driving PIT equipment experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• 1 year of training and/or leadership experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (intermediate).
• OSHA 30 certification (intermediate).
• Travel 0-10% indicates willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety programs and compliance using SafetyNet and OSHA guidelines.
• Monitor employee adherence to safety policies, PPE, and safe work practices.
• Manage Workers’ Comp notifications and Return to Work processes.
• Analyze Total Safety Index (TSI) data with Power BI to spot trends and corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs and ITA submissions; support OSHA interactions.
• Lead safety trainings, new employee orientations, and safety committee activities.
• Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and hazard observations.
• Oversee Forklift Training Program and related audits.

Job Details

Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid weekly

Annual Salary Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience

Schedule: 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 pm – 2:30 am

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety programs and compliance through SafetyNet, including Emergency Action Plans, Hazmat, and CTPAT requirements.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
• Manage Workers’ Comp notifications and Return to Work program
• Track and analyze Total Safety Index (TSI) data in Power BI to identify trends and corrective opportunities.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs and annual ITA submissions; support OSHA interactions when required.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations by gathering information and completing reports.
• Additional Responsibilities Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, behavioral observations, and hazard observations
• Manage, audit, and support Forklift Training Program
• Conduct New Employee Safety Orientation
• Chair and train the Safety Committee; oversee Behavior-Based Safety and GoodCatch programs.
• Oversee Workday safety training compliance and ensure completion of all required courses within site timelines.
• Conduct and track monthly/quarterly audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as required.
