Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Safety Manager in Colorado to lead safety compliance and risk reduction in our warehousing operations. You will collaborate with operations to implement safety programs, inspect sites, and drive incident investigations.

You will coordinate training, workers’ comp activities, and return-to-work processes with HR and insurers. The role emphasizes a proactive safety culture, strict adherence to OSHA-type standards, and a responsive safety program across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; OSHA, Cal-OSHA, DOT knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence safety culture throughout the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with ops management to ensure organization safety compliance.
• Evaluates safety programs, provides recommendations and implements approved changes.
• Conducts site safety inspections and audits.
• Facilitates post-accident/root-cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
• Manages safety training schedule and ensures proper documentation.
• Oversees drug testing program with a third party.
• Supports workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes with HR and insurer.
• Performs other safety-related projects as assigned.
