You will conduct inspections, lead accident investigations, and maintain forklift certification records to promote a safety-focused culture. The role requires teamwork with management to meet daily and monthly safety goals while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Conduct warehouse safety walks identifying issues and ensuring compliance.
• Maintain forklift certification records and PPE inventory.
• Assist in one-on-one new hire training related to equipment operations and group safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct warehouse safety walks, identifying issues and maintaining compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Perform periodic inspections of safety areas (emergency exits, extinguishers, eye-wash stations).
• Maintain safety resources such as PPE and first-aid stock.
• Complete monthly inspections of extinguishers and eye-wash stations and report findings.
• Assist in training new hires on equipment safety and operations.
• Maintain forklift training records for all employees for inspections.
• Provide updates to management on workplace safety issues.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Adhere to company policies and flex into other duties as needed.
