Position Summary:The Operations Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all safety programs across Warehouse, Transportation, and Facilities operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a proactive safety culture, reduces risk, and delivers hands-on training to staff and volunteers. The position requires extensive warehouse and operations experience, strong knowledge of transportation safety, and the ability to train and coach teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.The Coordinator manages the organizational safety program and performs periodic on-sight inspections, this includes but it not limited to AIB International Food Safety audits, Network Activity Report (NAR) for Feeding America, building licenses, and warehouse inspections. Researches and stays current on Occupational Health and Safety legislation, Safety Management, Food Safety and Facility safety management and incorporates with process, policy, and educational training.
