Job Summary
TheDCSafetyCoordinator/Team Lead position is responsible for driving and ensuringsafetyawarenessof the distribution center on all shifts. In thisstrategicsafetysupportrole,you willcloselysupportdistribution center leadership and thecompanySafetyDirectorindeveloping and implementingenvironmental,health,andsafety(EHS)policies,procedures, training, inspections, and audits.The safety coordinator will ensure DC safety and security measures are followed, as well as monitor, support,andissueassociateand contractoraccessbadges.Assistwithenvironmental,health and safety(EHS)inspections of thedistributioncenter.Driveconsistencywithsafetyincidentinvestigations, fact-finding, data collection and root cause analysis, and corrective actions.You will drive pro-active safety cultureengagementthrough risk mitigation andaddressingunsafe behaviors andhazards in the workplace.

Qualifications
Experience: Prior safety and warehouse experience required
Machines, Tools, Equipment (Office and Industrial), Software: Warehouse management system terminal, calculator, fax machine, copier, and telephone. Microsoft office with intermediate Excel focus.
