Job summary

Exotec is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic and conveyor systems installed in client warehouses. The role focuses on sustaining high system uptime and requires collaboration with on-site clients to provide operations guidance.

Based in Phillipsburg, NJ, you will interact with client leadership, handle installation support, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years maintenance experience, ideally with robotics.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and software maintenance operations; interest in robotics.
• Highly organized with ability to stay composed during high-stress incidents and escalations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with client leadership teams and de-escalate situations.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of all Exotec systems installed in client warehouses.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on systems and machines.
• Monitor performance of installations and ensure 99% availability.
• Work autonomously and with teams to maintain system uptime.
• Interact with on-site clients to provide operations guidance and perform maintenance.
• Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate with others as needed.
