Job summary

Exotec designs and delivers automation solutions for warehouses, with teams supporting operations across multiple sites. This role involves hands-on maintenance of robots, conveyors and related systems in client facilities, typically in Phillipsburg, NJ.

You will work closely with site teams to ensure continuous uptime, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with new deployments. Strong mechanical, electrical, and software aptitude plus good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of maintenance experience, ideally with robotics exposure.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software maintenance operations.
• Excellent organization and ability to stay calm during high-stress incidents.
• Effective communication to build rapport with client leadership and de-escalate situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of robots, machines, and conveyors installed by Exotec at client warehouses.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Monitor installation performance and ensure system availability targets (99%).
• Work autonomously and with teams to maintain uptime.
• Engage with on-site clients to provide operations advice and maintenance support.
• Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and coordinate with others as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
