Job summary

NRI in Fontana, CA is seeking a Returns Lead to organize and oversee warranty, quality control, repairs and returns activities for products from lifestyle-focused clients.

You will train and lead the returns staff, coordinate with the supervisor and client services, and ensure timely processing of all returns while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months of prior warehouse experience with returns (quality control or warranty claims).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to stand/walk for extended periods, climb ladders/stairs, and tolerate dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat or cold.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the training and cross-training of returns employees.
• Lead and delegate a variety of returns tasks while working within SLA and vendor compliance.
• Plan labor requirements with Returns Supervisor based on forecast and Client Services direction.
• Ensure all returns are processed timely and per client requirements.
• Input returns information into the system.
• Communicate with clients via email and reporting.
• Perform quality control on returns and warranty claims.
• Follow NRI safety rules and SOPs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

A Day in the Life

As a Returns Lead, you will play an important part in leading the Returns team by organizing and completing all warranty, quality control, repairsand returns duties. You’ll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and priorities that may change daily, while still remaining focused on partnering with the team and discern any potential roadblocks to task completion.

The following schedule is available for this role:

Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm

Starting Pay:

$21.50 an hour plus $1.00 Shift Differential

All About You

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
• Experience in leading receiving personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities

The Must Haves:

• Must have 12+ months of prior warehouse experience with returns (quality control or warranty claims), experience as a Lead is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
