Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on processing returns, inventory accuracy, and safe, efficient warehouse operations on a Monday – Friday schedule with daytime hours.

Starting pay is $19.87 per hour, with potential to earn up to $24 per hour after 9 months, reflecting performance and tenure. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months prior applicable experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have the ability to apply common sense and understand direction to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Need to be able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Checks worksheet against returns and keeps all manifests, packing slips, and pallet labels together.
• Determines if product is a refurb, scrap, or new product then enters proper information into Return Goods system.
• Moves returns to proper location (refurb, scrap or new).
• Reboxes or removes any labels and shrink wrap. When skid is complete, turns list of products in to the Warehouse Coordinator.
• Processes all New Goods that are identified in defective returns.
• Performs weekly counts on WIP and, as requested, inventory levels.
• Turns in all paperwork at the end of the day to the Warehouse Coordinator.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Performs other miscellaneous related duties as required.
