Consumer Affairs Representative I - Southern Pines, North Carolina

This is a hybrid, salaried, overtime-eligible role with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Employees work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation Structure

This role includes a structured step-increase program designed to support development and reward performance:

• Starting Salary: $39,000 annually
• Scheduled Pay Increases: At 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months, based on performance and tenure

Responsibilities

• Answer, process, and document incoming phone calls, e-mails, and letters from retail consumers in a fast-paced call center environment
• Learn, demonstrate, and apply knowledge of small appliances
• Crostrain on specialty brands to support consumer phone and email inquiries, including white glove customer service
• Provide light troubleshooting and sales assistance where needed
• Order and Warranty Support

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Six months of customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills with experience in data entry, e-mail, and the Internet across multiple systems
