Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Record Center Specialist to join our Operations team in Lees Summit, MO. You will maintain the security and integrity of customer assets while efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers in our record center.

The role requires 1–2 years in a warehouse/records center, the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance, and strong data entry/organizational skills. Lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools to ensure inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders using the Safekeeper system, scanning carton barcodes and locations (about 200 boxes daily).
• Conduct physical logistics: load/unload trailers, move, weigh, sort, and disassemble items with appropriate tools/equipment.
• Maintain security and accuracy by keeping a clean, secure work area and safeguarding customer information.

Iron Mountain is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Record Center Specialist to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of customer assets while efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers within our record center. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Process and fulfill customer orders by utilizing the Safekeeper system to accurately scan carton barcodes and locations, managing an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily for retrieval or return.

• Execute all physical logistics, including safely loading and unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items, while safely operating necessary tools and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols by maintaining a clean, secure work area and rigorously safeguarding customer information at all times.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• One to two (1-2)years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain PT Clearance

• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools, paired with excellent organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Proven ability in safely performing physical tasks, including regularly lifting up to 60 pounds, and remaining stationary or performing repetitive motions for extended periods (e.g., climbing, stooping, pushing, and pulling).

• High School diploma or equivalent with proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication skills.
