Job summary

McLane Company is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to manage inbound product flow and ensure items are saleable. You will verify condition on arrival, document discrepancies, and guide carriers on sorting and unloading in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product condition on arrival from carriers.
• Document overages, shorts, damages, exp dates, temps and trailer condition.
• Direct outside carriers on sorting and segregation of product.
• Maintain product integrity per company standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders and assign doors.
• Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed.
• Follow safety rules and meet production standards.
• Minimize mispicks, shorts and damages while working independently or in a team.
