Job summary

PJK Wards Holdings LLC is seeking a Receiver to manage day-to-day operations in the warehouse Receiving Department, typically from 7am to 3:30pm. You will ensure produce and dairy deliveries are received from suppliers and stored correctly within Ward’s Produce facilities.

Responsibilities include organizing workflow, rotating stock, maintaining safety, documenting receiving activities, and addressing discrepancies while keeping the warehouse clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse receiving experience.
• Thorough product knowledge, including substitutes and frequently ordered items.
• Knowledge of produce types and ability to judge product quality.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Organize workflow within the Receiving Department.
• Rotate all products before placing them in the appropriate slot.
• Assure safe work practices within the Receiving Department.
• Follow Company policies and procedures.
• Provide proper warehouse and receiving documentation as needed.
• Handle product discrepancies / shortages / other problems.
• Maintain a clean and properly stocked warehouse.
