Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a warehouse receiver to accurately receive material, stock items, and prepare orders for shipment. You will operate forklifts and warehouse equipment, scan items with RF devices, and help maintain efficient dock operations.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Detailed oriented with good math, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Experience operating a forklift is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and transport freight on the dock, loading/unloading trailers without damage. LTL.
• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock and manage UPS/FedEx shipments.
• Scan products with RF scanner and input data into computer.
• Break down cases and operate equipment to replenish warehouse stock.
• Scan and tote pallets for put away; drive material handling equipment as needed.
• Operate equipment such as order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
• Cross-train in Inbound, Outbound, Wire, and Pipe/Conduit areas.
