Job summary

Kommissary is seeking a Warehouse Specialist and Administrator in Bronx, NY. The role involves receiving, verifying deliveries, stock withdrawal, and preparing items for shipping with attention to labeling and inventory accuracy.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, can lift up to 50 lbs, and are comfortable working overtime in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will help maintain clean work areas and ensure accurate invoicing and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Read alpha-numeric codes from pick sheets and slots.
• Able to meet minimum production standards.
• Operate electronic pallet jacks to stack cases and shrink wrap orders.
• Accurately select orders and work overtime as needed.
• Stand/walk up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sign for and verify deliveries by box count (Receiving).
• Cross-reference packing slips and certificates of conformance (Receiving).
• Pick items from stock as per stock withdrawal or manager request.
• Label and pack items for shipping.
• Maintain neat, orderly workstation and storage.
• Inspect items for damage and report irregularities.
