Job summary

The Receiving Clerk at CDF - Doors, Frames & Hardware will manage incoming shipments, verify against packing lists, inspect items for damage, unload and store materials, and assist with inventory records. Forklift operation may be required.

We seek detail-oriented team players with basic math and computer skills, high integrity, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment in Gallatin, TN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of full-time work in a similar receiving/warehouse role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of business integrity when dealing with vendors and delivery personnel.
• Inspect deliveries for quality and quantity against packing slips.
• Ensure all delivery or packing slips are signed and dated upon receipt.
• Communicate discrepancies to Purchaser.
• Ensure materials received are stored to the correct locations.
• Adhere to local and corporate policies, rules, controls and safeguards.
• Keep loading dock and receiving areas clean, secure, and organized.
• Assist with quarterly physical inventories.
• Assist Accounts Payable Clerk with researching quantity discrepancies on invoices.
• Report to Lead Receiving Clerk.
