Job summary

Peak Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Lead at our Littleton, MA facility. Starting pay is $24-25 per hour.

This role oversees daily receiving operations, ensures shipments are received, inspected, documented, and stored accurately, and coordinates the receiving team to keep workflows safe and efficient. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of receiving or warehouse experience, prior lead responsibilities, and knowledge of warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in receiving, warehousing, logistics, or a similar environment.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse receiving and inventory procedures.
• Experience using warehouse, inventory, or ERP systems and barcode scanners.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with warehouse employees, suppliers, and other departments.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities within the receiving area.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and other receiving documents.
• Identify and help resolve shipment, inventory, or receiving discrepancies.
• Ensure received products are properly documented, labeled, and stored.
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding shipment issues.
• Help train and support receiving team members.
• Ensure employees follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Monitor receiving workflow and help keep shipments moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation for damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
• Identify opportunities to improve receiving processes and warehouse efficiency.
