Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co in Evansville, IN is seeking a Receiving Associate to join our Evansville branch. You will ensure accurate receipt and stocking of warehouse inventory, collaborating with teammates to maintain high accuracy.

Responsibilities include reviewing shipping manifests, resolving discrepancies, entering receipt data into the ERP, and safely loading/unloading trucks with forklifts while keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• RF scanners preferred; forklift experience required.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.
• Dependable attendance and multitasking ability.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with basic computer operations; non-climate controlled environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping manifests and cross-check received inventory for accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies and document according to procedures.
• Enter receipt information into the ERP system.
• Sort and stock inventory per WMS directions.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of the warehouse inventory system.
• Load/unload trucks, move materials, and stage products as needed.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse space for team and customers.
