Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co in Evansville, IN is seeking a Receiving Associate to ensure the accurate receipt and stocking of warehouse inventory. You will review shipping manifests, cross-check received goods, and enter receipts into the ERP system.

You will load/unload trucks, operate forklifts and hand trucks, maintain inventory integrity, and work with a team to deliver reliable service. A high school diploma and 1 year of warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year warehouse experience.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred; forklift experience required.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and multi-task.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping manifests and cross-check received inventory for accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies and maintain necessary documentation according to standard procedures.
• Accurately enter receipt information into the ERP system.
• Sort and stock inventory according to directions from the WMS System.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the warehouse inventory system.
• Load and unload trucks, move materials, and stage products as needed.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely within the warehouse environment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse space accessible to team members and customers.
