Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk in a distribution/warehouse environment. The role involves logging incoming purchase orders, auditing paperwork for accuracy, and assisting inventory to keep shelves stocked for customers.

The position requires physical work including lifting 25–70 pounds, operating distribution computers, and unloading/loading merchandise. Shift availability and punctual attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Log all in-coming purchase orders and audit receiving paperwork for accuracy.
• Assist inventory to ensure stores are stocked and observe merchandise for defects/damage.
• Call vendors for packing lists and freight bills and maintain filing system for receiving packets.
• Operate distribution computer systems to control merchandise flow and unload/load heavy/large merchandise as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Coach.
