The role involves contacting vendors for packing lists and freight bills, maintaining filing systems, and using distribution systems to control merchandise flow. Physical duties include unloading and stocking heavy items, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Log in-coming purchase orders and audit receiving paperwork for accuracy.
• Assist inventory to keep stores stocked and observe merchandise for defects.
• Call vendors for packing lists and freight bills as needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system for receiving packets.
• Operate distribution computer systems to control merchandise flow; unload, transport, stock, and load heavy/large items; assist Receiving team.
