Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Receiving Associate to assist in the warehouse operations of the store. You will unload, audit, and stage product to recover store inventory while ensuring accuracy and space efficiency.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and strong communication. You must be able to work in varying weather, in a fast-paced environment, and extend hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Store products to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• Comply with safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Complete required department and equipment training ( forklift certified ).
