Job summary

Sherwood Lumber Corporation is seeking a Receiving & Processing Associate to join our Operations team in Palmer, MA. The role involves receiving, organizing, and processing all incoming product and returns, verifying shipments against BOLs, and moving items into inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will offload inbound trailers, rotate stock using FIFO, and assist with daily order pulling while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming products and verifies accuracy against Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Offloads inbound trailers and returns daily.
• Inspects and sorts product by quality and condition.
• Organizes and stores product in designated areas promptly.
• Processes returns and exchanges per company policies.
• Restocks picking locations to ensure products are ready to pull.
• Rotates stock to maintain FIFO (first in, first out).
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment.
• Assists with pulling daily orders and other duties as needed.
