Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to unload trucks, receive inventory, and help distribute items to backstock and sales floors. The role requires attention to safety and accuracy in handling shipments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of warehouse experience, with the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate a pallet jack and basic computer systems. ESOP eligibility and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of warehouse or freight receiving experience preferred.
• Heavy lifting and physical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and unpack shipments from trucks.
• Organize and prioritize incoming freight to receive inventory.
• Examine shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages/overages.
• Develop and execute claims on mis-ships and defective products.
• Assist merchandisers by attaching identification and price tags.
• Operate pallet jack to move shipments between platforms, backstock, or the warehouse.
• Navigate computer systems and a phone for inventory tasks.
