Job summary

Palmer Food Services is hiring a Warehouse Receiving Coordinator in Rochester, NY. The role entails coordinating inbound appointments, preparing receiving paperwork, and ensuring HACCP documentation is attached to bills of lading.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:30 PM, with a salary of $20.00–$23.00 per hour. Key duties include reviewing documents, maintaining storage records, communicating load statuses daily, and supporting storage program operations such as billing and inventory

Role and Responsibilities:

• Live the company’s values by displaying our high standard characteristics and behaviors that lead to our collective success as outlined in our Values in Action.
• Schedule all inbound appointments and communicate to the warehouse staff daily.
• Have a sound understanding of the Operating System to create all necessary receiving paperwork.
• Review all receiving documents for accuracy and see that all accompanying HACCP documentation has been noted on the bill of lading.
• Collect, store and maintain lumping income.
• Review and file all storage paperwork.
• Facilitate communication with storage customers daily. This communication includes scheduling pick-ups, communicating when loads are completed.
• Maintain a separate storage receiving schedule outside of the operating system.
• Item and Customer Set-Up Professionally communicate late deliveries, overages and shortages to the purchasing staff.
• Develop a full understanding of the Storage program and complete the following functions:
  • Billing
  • Inventory Reports
  • Manual Withdrawals

Salary Range

• $20.00- $23.00/ hour

Shift:

• Monday- Friday 5:30 AM- 2:30 PM
