Palmer Food Services in Rochester, NY is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Coordinator. This full-time position handles inbound scheduling, receiving paperwork, and HACCP documentation on bills of lading, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with storage customers.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong organization, reliability, and basic warehouse software knowledge. Shift is Mon–Fri 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM with full benefits including health insurance and 401k.

Responsabilités

• Schedule all inbound appointments and relay to warehouse staff daily.
• Create receiving paperwork using the operating system.
• Review receiving documents and HACCP notes on bills of lading.
• Maintain lumping income records and file storage paperwork.
• Coordinate communication with storage customers for pick-ups and loads.
• Maintain a separate storage receiving schedule outside the OS.
• Set up items and customers; communicate delays, overages, shortages to purchasing.
• Understand Storage program functions: Billing, Inventory Reports, Manual Withdrawals.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Schedule all inbound appointments and communicate to the warehouse staff daily.
• Have a sound understanding of the Operating System to create all necessary receiving paperwork.
• Review all receiving documents for accuracy and see that all accompanying HACCP documentation has been noted on the bill of lading.
• Collect, store and maintain lumping income.
• Review and file all storage paperwork.
• Facilitate communication with storage customers daily. This communication includes scheduling pick-ups, communicating when loads are completed.
• Maintain a separate storage receiving schedule outside of the operating system.
• Item and Customer Set-Up Professionally communicate late deliveries, overages and shortages to the purchasing staff.
• Develop a full understanding of the Storage program and complete the following functions:
  • Billing
  • Inventory Reports
  • Manual Withdrawals

• High School diploma or state issued equivalency certificate.

Salary Range

• $20.00- $23.00/ hour

Shift:

• Monday- Friday 5:30 AM- 2:30 PM

• Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
• Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
