Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Receiver on the Day Shift to oversee the receiving dock, inspect incoming goods, and ensure accurate documentation for inventory control. The role maintains safety and quality compliance while supporting efficient product flow.

Responsibilities include coordinating storage, counting and labeling, and assisting with forklifts and staging. Benefits begin Day 1, with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, count and verify quality and labeling of all materials at the dock.
• Coordinate storage of supplies and enter information into inventory system.
• Move items to staging areas and assist forklift operators as needed.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and documentation throughout the shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
