Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Dock Receiver to oversee the receiving dock area, inspecting, counting, and verifying materials with a focus on quality control and safety. The role ensures efficient flow of products through the production process and supports shelving, storage, and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, preparing for operations, and coordinating with forklift operators to move items to staging areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience preferred.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures; keep work area clean and safe.
• Review schedule and prepare for operations; obtain supplies as needed.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment and safety gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidance.
• Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming products; document and store items accordingly.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move items to staging and storage areas.
