Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee receiving dock operations, inspect and verify deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 - 12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work area.
• Review schedule, perform safety checks, and prepare required supplies.
• Put on PPE and safety gear as needed.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Open loading dock doors, prepare area to receive products from trailers.
• Inspect incoming trailers and verify items against the receiving schedule.
• Receive, count, and record items; ensure quality and labeling.
• Coordinate storage and enter data into inventory systems; assist forklift operators as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and keep docks, warehouses, and trailers clean.
