Job summary

SanMar in Minnesota is hiring a Receiver/Loader to unload and load trailers by following SOPs. You may operate an electric Power Jack to move pallets and products while maintaining a positive attitude toward the company, customers, and coworkers.

You will meet accuracy standards, deliver on deadlines, and keep a safe, clean workspace in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires reading, basic math, color/size/SKU identification and teamwork with others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to business needs.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Essential days or overtime may be required.
• May need to complete and maintain Lift Operator Certification every three years.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.
• Maintain a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers.
• Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMar safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
