Job summary

Ferraro Foods in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Warehouse Reach Operator to support a multi-temperature warehouse and ensure accurate, timely stocking and fulfillment. The role requires operating reach trucks, maintaining organized aisles, and following FIFO inventory practices.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a 7:00 AM start. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs while working in a fast-paced environment. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate or learn a reach truck and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull product (up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Dependability and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay on task.

Responsibilities

• Put away incoming product to the correct warehouse locations using a reach truck.
• Replenish pick slots so selectors always have product ready to go.
• Keep aisles organized so product is easy to find and pick.
• Follow proper rotation (FIFO) to keep inventory fresh.
• Use RF scanners to track and move product accurately.
• Help keep the warehouse running smoothly throughout the shift.
