Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the distribution center's quality assurance and control activities. You will ensure materials and finished products meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements, directing audits and problem-solving to improve site performance.

The role involves coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS, reviewing nonconformances, and promoting built-in quality and lean practices across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Quality, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, including leading teams.
• Experience with inspections, nonconforming material control, root cause analysis, and QMS.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and inspection requirements.
• Experience using measurement equipment and ERP/QMS/manufacturing systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and prioritize the daily work of quality auditors across incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Provide clear shift direction, coaching, workload balance, and escalation support for warehouse quality coverage.
• Ensure inspections and tests meet drawings, specs, control plans, and customer requirements.
• Authorize holds and escalations when materials do not meet requirements; ensure traceability.
